Jim Kelly to speak at the annual ASDA conference regarding the successful defense of Catamount ski area in a NYC case of 4-year-old falling from a chair lift.
The 4-year-old was attending a skiing class in March, 2013 when she slipped out of a lift chair and fell 25 feet suffering a fractured leg which required 2 surgical procedures. After a 2-week trial the NYC jury found that the ski area was not negligent and dismissed the claim.
The case discussion is at the Association of Ski Defense Attorneys annual meeting in Taos, New Mexico in March, 2022.
